Madness has landed in the world of League of Legends, exploding in vibrant colors. On November 26, the Arcane Fractured Jinx was introduced in the action. Riot Games is channeling the hype around Arcane into discussions about the Exalted Skin, inspired by the series and marking a new, unprecedented rarity tier. While players praise its design, they criticize the pricing and limited variation.
We will tell you all about Fractured Jinx including Release Date in LoL, Price, Styles, and connection with Arcane series lore.
Exalted Skin: Fractured Jinx
Riot Games has high hopes for the impact of Arcane Season 2, introducing a new highest-tier rarity for skins in League of Legends. This line debuts with Jinx, the iconic heroine from the animated series.
This skin has a unique mechanic, allowing real-time transformations between three appearances. However, as revealed in the PBE preview, the transitions happen randomly and show minimal variation—similar silhouettes with different hairstyles and color gradients. The color scheme is striking, combining purples, blues, and neon greens, though players expected more distinct looks, especially given the high cost.
“Wait, where’s the ******* hood lmao”
— Reddit user.
Players of the PC version of League of Legends are upset about the absence of Jinx’s signature Arcane hood, which is present in the mobile version (LoL: Wild Rift), further frustrating fans who play on PC.
Fractured Jinx Price

The acquisition system, Sanctum, resembles a gacha model, introducing a new currency called Ancient Sparks. These can be earned within a few attempts, but a pity system guarantees the skin after 80 tries at most. For unlucky players, this could cost around $250 in RP bundles needed to purchase Ancient Sparks.
Developers describe this system as an alternative to fixed pricing, allowing players willing to take risks with smaller investments to obtain the skin for less potential.
Both S-Tier and A-Tier rewards have bad luck protection, ensuring items of these tiers drop within a set number of attempts. If both tiers overlap, S-Tier rewards take priority. Additionally, duplicates are avoided, meaning exclusive items like skins and chromas won’t repeat.
Release Date
The skin is expected to be released mid-to-late November, as developers noted it contains spoilers for the storyline. Another plausible release date is early December, with Patch 14.24, which coincides with an Arcane Pass and Caitlyn's Prestige skin release. At the latest, it could arrive between December 12-14.
Riot Games has promised more updates by the end of the year.
“This year, we focused heavily on luxury items. While we’re introducing Exalted Skins, we’re also exploring new technologies, features, and content types (even beyond skins) that cater to a broader audience, which we’ll share more about later this year.”

They plan to reintroduce cosmetics from past events, such as Legacy skins, event chromas, and emotes from Event Passes, making them available for Mythic Essence. However, Limited skins—General, Achievement Limited, Riot Limited, Promotional, Event Limited, and Collector’s Edition—are not expected to return to the Mythic Shop. This approach keeps these cosmetics exclusive at release while providing a higher-cost option for those who missed them. Additionally, a future update will include timers to indicate when content will rotate out of the shop, ensuring players don’t miss their second chance.
Fractured Jinx Styles

In-game, Jinx changes her appearance using the "Ctrl + 5" key combination, accompanied by an animation resembling a slot machine mechanism above the champion model. The striking VO lines catch the attention of even those unaware that the skin is the rarest in the game.
The first and third Jinx styles differ only in color — light purple and acid light green. The second features a short hairstyle inspired by Arcane Season 2, Episode 7 — overall, the three styles look very similar, possibly by an idea to avoid overwhelming the conceptual skin's meta-style.
Conclusions
Many players are disappointed with the skin’s quality, calling it mediocre for Ultimate tier rarity. The real-time transformation mechanic has potential, but Riot Games will need to improve variation to justify the price of luxury items. Nevertheless, the hype surrounding Exalted Skins could make them a commercial success at launch.
