LoL Worlds 2024 Content & Activities in League: Worlds Skins, Anthem, Pick`Ems And Spellbook Mode

On September 25, the 2024 League of Legends World Championship will begin — the main tournament of the 2024 season. This is a massive event that will gather hundreds of thousands of LoL fans worldwide in front of their screens.

Worlds 2024 will not only be a celebration of esports in League of Legends but also a source of massive content. We’ve decided to compile everything Riot has prepared for the start of Worlds 2024 in one place: from Worlds 2024 Skins to the Worlds 2024 Battle Pass and Anthem.

Worlds 2024 Skins

The LoL World Championship is unimaginable without exclusive skins for such an event. And in the case of Worlds 2024, you won’t have to imagine, as Riot Games has prepared new cosmetic items that will appear in the game with the championship's start.

Worlds 2024 Viego

The first and main skin of Worlds 2024 will be the Worlds 2024 Viego skin. It will appear in the game on September 25, alongside patch 14.19, on the day the tournament begins.

The price of Worlds 2024 Viego is 1350 RP. Obviously, this will be an exclusive item available in the in-game store for a limited time.

Victorious Sona

Another skin for Worlds 2024 will be the Victorious Sona. Unlike Viego, it doesn’t carry the Worlds 2024 title, but its release date hints at a connection with the 2024 World Championship.

Victorious Sona will be added to the game with patch 14.19 on Wednesday, September 25. The price of the skin is unknown, so we can assume it will be one of the rewards for the Event Pass, which is discussed below.

In addition to the aforementioned Worlds 2024 Viego and Victorious Sona, Riot Games is preparing more skins. Alongside the start of the World Championship, the Fright Night 2024 line will appear in LoL, and on October 23, with patch 14.21, more skins will be announced for future releases.

Worlds 2024 Battle Pass & Event: Release Date and Lifetime

During major League of Legends events like Hall of Legends and Anima Squad 2024, limited Events occur, and with them, Event Passes, or Battle Passes if you prefer. Worlds 2024 is the biggest event, so it will receive its own Event and Event Pass.

The Worlds 2024 Event Pass will be available in the League of Legends store starting September 25, alongside patch 14.19.

As usual, the Event Pass comes in several purchase types, each offering unique rewards:

• Worlds 2024 Battle Pass – 1650 RP (€17)
• Worlds 2024 Battle Pass Bundle – 2650 RP (€27)
• Worlds 2024 Battle Pass Premium Bundle – 3650 RP (€33)

Each Worlds 2024 Event Pass has its own initial rewards. In total, there will be 50 levels of rewards and a temporary store where you can exchange Worlds 2024 tokens for valuable cosmetic items, blue and orange essence, champion shards, and other items.

Ultimate Spellbook Mode: Release Date & What Is It?

During Worlds 2024, League of Legends players can enjoy a temporary game mode. This is standard practice for Riot Games during major events and has already been implemented in 2024 during the Swarm Event.

During the LoL World Championship 2024, from September 25 to November 2, the Ultimate Spellbook mode will be available in the game. This is a non-competitive temporary mode where you can choose the ultimate ability of one randomly selected champion instead of your second Summoner Spell.

It’s unlikely that Ultimate Spellbook will become a permanent mode like ARAM, but nothing can be ruled out.

Worlds 2024 Anthem

Every year, Riot Games presents an Anthem. For Worlds 2024, the premiere of the anthem will take place on September 24.

Worlds 2024 Pick'Ems Duration Time

Another activity awaiting us during Worlds 2024 will be Pick'Ems. They will take place from September 18 to 24 and will be divided into different stages.

Overall, the Worlds 2024 Pick'Ems will include two stages: Pick'Ems and Crystal Ball. The mechanics of Worlds 2024 Pick'Ems remain standard for this type of activity. You will need to predict match outcomes, champions, and various in-game events, which will be converted into points after each correct prediction.
