Additionally, the developers have prepared something special for us—a brand-new Heads-Up Display (HUD) update launching alongside the tournament. This update will refresh the match presentation and lay the foundation for future innovations. It aims to push the boundaries of game visualization, collaboration, and sustainability, making the viewing experience even more enjoyable for both dedicated fans and new audiences.

Here are the key areas developers have focused on to enhance the viewing experience:
- Improved readability and accessibility for viewers across all devices and platforms.
- Simplified key esports information to make it easier for new fans to engage in discussions.
- A stronger connection to the game's flow, with the HUD dynamically adapting to in-game events on the Rift.

All these changes weren’t made by chance—everything we see is a direct response to fan requests. Once again, we can see how Riot Games cares about and values its community’s feedback.
Co-Streaming
Riot Games has also announced the return of Co-streaming for FST 2025. This will give fans even more ways to enjoy matches alongside their favorite LoL Esports content creators. This year, Riot Games is expanding coverage to a third global event, with 75 streamers broadcasting every game, offering alternative viewing options beyond the main broadcast—so everyone can find a stream that suits them.
All qualified professional teams will also be able to host official team co-streams, enhancing the viewing experience for their fans throughout the tournament.
For all other content creators who have not received an official invitation to stream the event, the standard Content Creator Guidelines remain in effect.
Dynamic LoL Esports Team Rankings by AWS

Another great update—Global Power Rankings powered by AWS are returning on March 2 with the first update following Split 1. After debuting at Worlds 2024, the model has been significantly refined to account for structural changes in the Americas and Pacific regions.
To ensure accuracy ahead of First Stand, Split 1 results were excluded from calculations, allowing the model to better adapt to new formats and updated team rosters.
During international tournaments (First Stand, MSI, Worlds), the rankings will be updated daily, while during regional leagues, updates will be provided weekly.
Don’t Miss the Best Moments and Exciting Rewards!
Beyond in-game improvements, Riot Games continues to elevate the quality of tournaments and their broadcasts each year. By listening to their fans, they put in an incredible amount of work to refine their product, which is something all of us as players and viewers can appreciate.
From March 10 to 16, you’ll have the chance to watch the world’s top teams compete at First Stand and earn valuable rewards along the way. So don’t miss out—tune in to the matches and collect as many prizes as possible. May your favorite team claim victory—enjoy the show!
