Key Information About Waylay
Leaks and early teasers suggest that Waylay is a new duelist and the first agent from Thailand. The last duelist introduced in the game was Iso, back in October 2023, making the arrival of another duelist highly anticipated.
Codename and Visual Clues
One of the major hints about Waylay’s abilities comes from her codename in the battle pass – "Refraction." This term refers to the bending of light as it passes through different materials, suggesting mechanics involving mirrors or illusions.
Additionally, glowing crystals have appeared in teasers, seemingly linked to the new agent. These could play a key role in her cloning ability.
Possible Abilities and Gameplay Mechanics
Based on leaks and speculation, Waylay might have the following abilities:

Waylay’s official release may coincide with a new Valorant episode or act. If Riot Games follows their usual schedule, a full trailer and ability showcase should follow the teaser on March 2 during the VCT 2025 Bangkok showmatch.
