electroNic: "Nu er vi ikke sikre på, at vi helt sikkert vil vinde det nuværende mesterskab"
/electroNic, who is the captain of NaVi, shared his thoughts on the team's prospects at IEM Cologne 2022. In an interview for the HLTV portal, the 23-year-old Russian esportsman also spoke about his role and principles of building a team game.
It was sad to realize that the former line-up, which had gone through a lot, fell apart. In the early days, thoughts were that we had lost the team that we had. Then, when I realized that I would be a captain, it became necessary to work hard. I always wanted to become a captain, but I did not think that this would happen now.
Leadership of the team primarily depends on the players, not the captain. It is important whether the leader has authority, whether the squad will listen to him and whether the players will follow him even when it is not the right decision. The team is trying to help me. She is not yet completely used to my style of play, but over time we will fix it.
sdy is a good player who tries to analyze the game, he has a good aim. He needs to keep working, like everyone else on the team. And the more he works, the more he will learn from this experience and develop even faster.
As far as I remember, we did not set ourselves any goals for this tournament at all. It is clear that the goal is always to win. As a player, my goal is always to perform at my best. Let's see how far we go in this tournament.
To be honest, we have been coming to all tournaments for the second year as a favorite. Everyone expects victories from us, but it's not so easy. Now we have no confidence that we will definitely win the current championship. At the same time, we are confident in our abilities. Each individual player understands that in Cologne you can show a very good result.
