Sprout sagde farvel til Spiidi
Maksym ShylovThe European esports organization Sprout has announced on social media that Timo 'Spiidi' Richter has left the CS:GO roster. The further fate of the player's career remains unknown.
The 26-year-old esports player from Germany joined Sprout in December 2017. Thus, the player played for the club from the very first squad. The team managed to be noted for its success in the mid-level championships, however, it never achieved significant results at a high level.
Of the achievements, it is worth noting the 2nd place at PMU Challenge 2018, victory at ESL Meisterschaft: Summer 2018, 2nd place at Charleroi Esports 2019, Copenhagen Games 2019, and Sprout won silver at DreamHack Open Atlanta 2019, United Masters League Season 2. The team became the champions of ESL Meisterschaft: Spring 2020, ESEA Season 34: Premier Division - Europe and ESEA Season 39: Premier Division - Europe.
In total, the esports club has earned $524,221 in prize money during its existence. The nearest tournament for the team will be ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2022. It is worth noting that recently Fnatic were left without a player and have a free place in the roster, as well as birdfromsky left ECSTATIC.
