Anton PashencevThe ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2022 series championship will start very soon, which will be held from September 2 to 4 in Australia. In total, eight teams will take part in the event, and four of them passed qualifications in their regions.
All teams were divided into two groups, where they will play according to the GSL system with a double-elimination bracket. By the way, only the knockout matches and the match for the second place will be played up to two wins, and in all the rest we will meet in the bo1 format.

According to the terms of the championship format, two best teams from each group leave the event, and two more go to the playoffs, where they will face the single-elimination bracket with matches up to two victories, including the grand final.
Note that the participants are fighting for a prize pool of $100,000 and a slot for the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17 tournament, through which you can get into the ESL Pro League group stage.
