ESL Pro League S18: NAVI and FaZe have secured their spots in the playoffs
On the second day of ESL Pro League Season 18 for CS:GO, which took place on September 14th, matches were held to determine the first participants in the playoffs.
Teams NAVI and FaZe had already secured their spots in the playoffs by defeating Apeks and Fnatic, respectively. These winners will now face each other for the right to advance directly to the quarterfinals.
Teams 9z Team and M80 were relegated to the last-chance bracket, while Apeks, Imperial, 5yclone, and Fnatic continue to compete in the lower bracket of Group C.
Results of all matches on September 14th:
- M80 — 5yclone 0:2 (10:16 on Nuke and 14:16 on Anubis)
- Apeks — NAVI 0:2 (7:16 on Anubis and 5:16 on Inferno)
- FaZe — Fnatic 2:1 (12:16 on Ancient, 16:14 on Inferno, and 16:3 on Nuke)
Furthermore, ESL Pro League Season 18 continues from August 30th to October 1st in Malta, with a prize pool of $850,000 up for grabs.
