On August 30th, the first matches of ESL Pro League Season 18 for CS:GO took place.
Following the clashes, teams Vitality, Movistar Riders, GamerLegion, and Ninjas in Pyjamas successfully advanced to the upper bracket semifinals. FURIA, Grayhound, ORKS, and Astralis commenced their journey in the lower bracket after starting with defeats.
Results of all matches on August 30th:
- FURIA — Movistar Riders 0:2 (with scores of 8:16 on Overpass and 13:16 on Nuke)
- Grayhound — GamerLegion 0:2 (with scores of 9:16 on Anubis and 13:16 on Ancient)
- Astralis — Ninjas in Pyjamas 0:2 (with scores of 10:16 on Ancient and 11:16 on Inferno)
- Vitality — ORKS 2:0 (with scores of 16:7 on Mirage and 16:6 on Nuke)
ESL Pro League Season 18 competitions will take place from August 30th to October 1st. Throughout the tournament, a prize pool of $850,000 will be distributed.
