The format of DreamHack Masters Malmö was announced

New details of DreamHack Masters Malmö have become known - organizers have published the dates and the format of the championship. All sixteen participants will be divided into four groups where they will play in a GSL format with bo1 matches.
See also: ESL will host a tournament in Denmark.
Two best participants from each group will go to the playoff stage, where they will be waited by a single-elimination bracket with bo2 matches, including the grand final. The first matches of the group stage are scheduled on August 30 and will last until September 1. In its turn, the playoff stage will be run on September 2-3 and the prize pool of the championship amounts $250,000.
