ESL Pro League Season 19 has finally begun! There is a lot of Counter-Strike 2 of different levels and calibres ahead: from the matches of strong mid-tier and TIR-2 teams to the matches of the grandees of competitive Counter-Strike 2.

We are talking about the group stage of the long-term league, where 32 teams will determine the participants of the play-offs. In Group A, Fnatic and 3DMAX, among others, will do it.

Fnatic Form

In 2024, Fnatic's focus was to qualify for the first CS2 World Championship, but they failed to do so, finishing top-11 at European RMR A and top-6 at Decider. There were qualifications for other, less titled tournaments, but everywhere without success.

In the first match of ESL Pro League Season 19, Fnatic faced Virtus.pro and rather unexpectedly beat the more status and stronger opponent at the moment.

3DMAX uniforms

The 28th team of the world ranking was born quite recently. The French stack was formed in the middle of the year and since then they have been playing almost everywhere they can.

At ESL Challenger League Season 46: Europe 3DMAX shone. The Frenchmen went over the heads of their opponents very confidently, which eventually translated into a tournament victory with a convincing 3-0 win against forZe in the grand finals.

There were far fewer high-profile wins in the 2024 season. 3DMAX finished top-11 at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European Qualifier, IEM China 2024: European Open Qualifier, top-4 at RES Western European Masters: Spring 2024, and top-12 at European RMR A.

Prior to the ESL Pro League Season 19, 3DMAX played at A1 Gaming League Season 8, where they finished in the Top 2.

At ESL Pro League Season 19 3DMAX debuted as an underdog in a match against sAw, but showed class and won a tough series with extra rounds in each of the two maps.
