Beastcoast - femte deltager The International 2022
S0dSouth American esports organization Beastcoast has announced on social media that its Dota 2 roster has qualified for the World Championship, The International 2022. At the end of the season, 1295 DPC points were enough for the team to qualify for the tournament.
The Peruvian team finished DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division I in 3rd place, earning $27,000 and 120 DPC points. After that, beastcoast took the upper hand in DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Final, which brought an additional 250 points.
In the second part of the season, the club was able to improve their results. DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I ended for beastcoast in 2nd place and earned 240 DPC points. Silver in Tour 2 also brought the team a slot in ESL One Stockholm 2022. At the Major in Stockholm, the players stopped in 5-6th place and received another 385 points.
The final part of the DPC 2021/2022 season beastcoast finished in 2nd place. Further performance at the current PGL Arlington Major has only financial value for the Peruvians, because they are still fighting for the $500,000 prize pool.

Recall that The International 2022 will be held from 15 to 30 October this year. The venue will be Suntec Singapore & Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. 20 teams will compete for an impressive prize pool, which is currently unknown. At The International 10, the prize pool was $40,018,195, and the winners represented by Team Spirit earned $18,208,300.
