Vinderen af The International 2022 modtager 45 % af præmiepengene
Lord MatusThe organizers of The International 2022 have announced a way to distribute the prize pool of the Dota 2 World Championship. The winner of the tournament will earn the main reward, which will be 45% of the total fund. Now this amount is $7,564,392. The vice-champion will receive a reward of 13% ($2,185,305), while the bronze medalist and the 4th place team will receive 9% ($1,512,919) and 6% ($1,008,579) respectively.
Soniqs, Talon Esports, BB and TSM have already completed their participation in the event, having failed to overcome the group stage. The teams placed 17th-18th and 19th-20th, respectively, and earned $41,937, which is 0.25% of the total prize pool.

The total prize pool of The International 2022 is currently $16,809,813 and is gradually increasing due to the Battle Pass dedicated to TI2022. The percentage of distribution of prize money will remain unchanged, which cannot be said about the amount that the organizers will share among the participants of the championship. Last year, the main reward was 45.5% of the prize pool, which was the equivalent of $18,208,300.
The main stage of The International 2022 runs from October 15 to 30. The remaining 16 participants are currently battling for the top prize of $7,561,578.
According to the results of the group stage, Evil Geniuses, Thunder Awaken, Team Secret, PSG.LGD, Tundra Esports, OG, Team Liquid and Team Aster advanced to the upper bracket, while Hokori, beastcoast, Team Spirit, BOOM Esports, Fnatic started their way from the lower bracket, Gaimin Gladiators, Royal Never Give Up and Entity.
