The First Team Eliminated from The International 2024 Main Event Revealed: Results of BB Team vs Falcons Match
The opening match of The International 2024 Main Event on stage before the audience has come to an end. In the lower bracket, BB Team and Falcons fought for a spot in the top 6 of the tournament. After two maps, the favorites, Team Falcons, emerged victorious.
BB Team vs Team Falcons Match Details
On both maps, BB Team placed their bets on offlane Doom. However, Team Falcons proved to be significantly stronger than their opponents. The first map ended in just 25 minutes. The second map lasted almost an hour, and although BB Team was behind by nearly 30,000 gold, they still had a chance with a well-farmed Medusa and Storm Spirit. Unfortunately, a poorly executed fight near their base led to Saika's Medusa dying, losing the Divine Rapier, and having no buyback. As a result, Team Falcons comfortably advanced to the top 6 of The International 2024, while BB Team exits the championship.
The prize pool is not yet final, as it directly depends on Dota 2 fans and their purchases of the in-game compendium.
