The collectives have already met with each other at the group stage of the championship and then Evil Geniuses turned out to be the strongest winning over their opponents by the score of 2:0. We should mark that the win  didn't demand a lot of work as both of the maps ended up by the 40th minute.

PSG.LGD didn't perform well at the group stage taking only the third place but later we understood that the guys didn't want to reveal their  hands before the playoff. At the playoff stage the roster defeated Virtus.Pro and Team Liquid, but couldn't win over OG Dota, letting them win by the score of 2:1.

Meanwhile, Evil Geniuses performed in a perfect  way at the group stage taking the second place there and having only one loss in their passive (from Liquid). At the playoff the collective won over Team Secret, Virtus.Pro and Team Liquid, but could do nothing to win over  OG Dota, and thanks to that they got to the lower bracket.

The bookmakers think that PSG.LGD are not a clear favourite of the competition and set the coefficient of their win equal to 1.8, while the triumph of Evil Geniuses is evaluated as 2. We will lean towards the Chinese collective as they look confident during the competition and even the third map of the meeting against OG could end even at the 20th minute but lost because of a couple of mistakes.

We hope that the guys have made the right conclusion from the yesterday's loss and today they will play better even though  they have lost against their today's opponents.
