Match forudsigelse: Beastcoast - PSG.LGD | Dota 2
The International 2022In Singapore, the playoffs of the main event of the year continue. At The International 2022, the main stage is gaining momentum and now we are looking at the match of the third round of the lower bracket.
The last day of the first half of the playoffs will be opened by PSG.LGD and Beastcoast. One of the teams will be in the TOP-6, and the second will have to be content with only the TOP-8.
We figure out which of the teams will be stronger and make another chance, on the way to the Aegis of Champions.
Form PSG.LGD
PSG.LGD will be the favorite in this match. The chance for the Chinese giants to win is estimated at a coefficient of around 1.2.
Such an indicator for the Chinese giant is a common thing. It's hard to imagine PSG.LGD playing the role of catching up in this match.
However, during this year and specifically The International 2022, PSG.LGD gave rise to doubts more than once.
Firstly, the team spent a rather dubious year for itself, taking only 4th place in China in the third round. Secondly, The International itself.
PSG.LGD results at The International 2022
This year, PSG.LGD advanced to the main event of the season from the first place in the DPC rating. By default, the Chinese giants had the highest chance of winning The International 2022 before its start, but after the group stage, faith in them was shaken.
The team started their performance in group A very uncertainly. The team lost cards to Hokori and Soniqs, not to mention more top teams.
Be that as it may, PSG.LGD joined the game from the second day of the group stage and as a result made it to the playoffs from the third place in Group A. The first opponent of PSG.LGD in the upper bracket of the playoffs was Team Secret.
The European team played the role of lagging behind, but in fact, PSG.LGD lagged behind. The Chinese did not manage to stop the onslaught of Team Secret, who outplayed PSG.LGD on two maps with the help of Dawnbreaker in the first position.
Already in the lower bracket of the playoffs, PSG.LGD played against BOOM. On the first map of that confrontation, PSG.LGD wiped out BOOM from the map with the help of Chen and MK, and on the second, after losing the beginning, they cameback with the help of Earthshaker of the fourth position.
PSG.LGD roster
- Ame
- NothingToSay
- Faith_bian
- XinQ
- y`
This tournament is the last chance to win the Aegis in such a roster. Now it is difficult to predict whether PSG.LGD will succeed, but, of course, there are prerequisites for this.
Heroes PSG.LGD
Primal Beast, Slark, Puck appear in spades, but there are also Zeus with Terrorblade. PSG.LGD continues to rate Tiny for XinQ, but there is no noticeable impact from him.
On the second day of the group stage, they added Natures Prophet to the first position and Pangolier for NothingToSay. Also flashed Venomancer and other "nice" heroes for the pace. However, later they came to the more standard characters listed above. Weakly cope with aggressive picks, which we saw in the match against Team Secret.
Form Beastcoast
Beastcoast will perform in the catch-up status in this match. The chance of winning the team from South America is estimated by the odds around 3.4.
The fact that Beastcoast have reached this stage is already a result, and not a bad one at that. There can be no question of any favoritism here.
Beastcoast made it to The International not as the strongest team in the world. The team was inferior in its region, but this did not stop them from scoring points at ESL One Stockholm and PGL Arlington Major.
At The International 2022 itself, the team held a classic group stage for itself.
Beastcoast results at The International 2022
The El Chachi team got into group B, where they faced Secret, Aster, their colleagues from Thunder and other top teams. We played, I repeat, stably, by virtue of the possibilities.
After 8-10 on maps in the group stage, Beastcoast advanced to the lower bracket, where their first opponent was colleagues from Hokori. Wisper didn't leave a chance on Batrider and Beastcoast went to Evil Geniuses, where they dealt with their North American colleagues in an aggressive manner.
Ahead of Beastcoast is a much more serious test. I'm afraid they won't have a chance to pass it.
Composition of Beastcoast
- K1
- Chris Luck
- Wisper
- Scofield
- Stinger
The Peruvians are now in their element and it was evident from the first match. It is hard to compete with such Beastcoast, but they themselves can become hostages of their own courage, which happened more than once.
Heroes of Beastcoast
Their playstyle has not changed over the years and the emphasis in the game is on K1. This can both help and play a cruel joke on the Peruvians. At times, other performers join in, taking the role of the first violin for themselves, as was the case with Wisper in the match against Hokori, but more often it is K1 that acts as a locomotive.
In spades they take Shadow Fiend, Snapfire, Marci, Tiny, Clockwerk, Engima, the same Batrider. In principle, nothing supernatural.
History of personal confrontations
The teams have not played each other this season. This match will be the debut confrontation between the teams.
Match outcome
Despite the really decent level of Beastcoast's play, in this match I'm buying into PSG.LGD's title. The Chinese club cannot afford to be relegated at this stage, and must turn on the Peruvians.
Result: PSG.LGD win 2-0.
PSG.LGD is the 3rd team in the world ranking. They started very shaky in the TI group stage, but quickly managed to rebuild and return to the right track, taking 3rd place. On the first day we tied with Hokori and Susquehanna Soniqs and lost to EG. The second and third days already played as expected. During this time, OG, Liquid, RNG and BOOM won 2:0. The remaining matches were held in a draw against GG and BetBoom. The first match of the playoffs, unfortunately, was played terribly, losing to Team Secret 2:0. But it turned out to improve in the lower bracket, destroying BOOM 2:0 in the second match.
Beastcoast is the 5th team in the world ranking. Finished the group stage in 7th place with two wins, four draws and three losses. Starting from the lower bracket, we have already managed to move up to at least 7-8th place, having defeated Hokori 1:0 and EG 2:0.
After the LGD BOOM match, one gets the impression that the Chinese were able to establish the necessary conditions for a good result. I think this match will not be the final for them in the tournament.
