Both teams in the new season feel so-so. However, One Move looks much better in this regard.

The team will approach the match with 1-5 stats and 6th place in the standings. A victory in this match could allow them to catch on to potential replays, or even stay in the first division if NaVi fails.

As for their opponents Nemiga, the situation is sadder. Nemiga is 0-5, bottom of the standings, and a loss here means relegation from the first division.

We are trying to figure out which of the teams will be stronger in this confrontation, while improving their position and getting the last chance for success.

We start the review with an analysis of Nemiga Gaming's game form. Paradoxically, they are the favorites in this match.

I don’t really understand why the bookmaker gives such credit to the team on the last line. The coefficient for their victory is around 1.7.

The favorite, of course, is a stretch, because such a coefficient indicates rather a parity, but on paper, Nemiga has some advantage. Where it came from is unclear.

Playing under the same tag since last year, the team approached DPC 2023 as the most stable and well-played team. Seasoned with a good performance at the start of 2023, it could have been a successful experience in the top division, but in reality we have witnessed a failure.

Performance of Nemiga Gaming

Since the roster has been holding since May of this year, the results of the team in the context of different events are quite indicative. And they are so-so.

In the 2022 season, Nemiga played as part of the second division of the DPC EEU. In the first round, the team stopped a step away from a critical point, taking 6th place and retaining a slot in the ecosystem, but already in the next round they left the second division.

It was possible to return back almost immediately, already in a new format with an updated roster. Nemiga went through open qualifiers and continued to play within the DPC EEU - Division II with a new fuse. This paid off and after the third round, taking 2nd place, Nemiga earned a place in the first league. Before the start of the top division of Eastern Europe, Nemiga Gaming took TOP-3 at the BetBoom Xmas Show.

HellRaisers became Nemiga Gaming's first opponent at DPC 2023. As a result of an exhausting and complete marriage on both sides, the latter won the victory.

Darksiders followed. The hodgepodge of downed pilots managed to defeat Nemiga Gaming with a score of 0-2. You can't call it an easy game, but a clear victory was achieved.

In the third series, Nemiga played against Virtus.pro. The next game was another failure for them - 2-1 in favor of VP and 0-3 in the standings for Nemiga.

Next was Team Spirit. As in the case of Virtus.pro, Nemiga surprisingly took a map from the champions of The International 2021, but the match ended not in their favor.

Before the match, Nemiga didn't have much chance against BB Team. During the confrontation, they did not increase and the team lost with a score of 0-2.

Heroes of Nemiga Gaiming

Timbersaw remains Nemiga Gaming's most beloved character. The team chose him 5 times, and the hero won all his matches.

Next come Rubick with 5 matches and 80% win rate, Silencer with 4 appearances and wins in all, Monkey King with 4 matches and 75% win rate, and Pangolier with Magnus who won 2 out of 4 maps.

One Move Shape

We continue the review with the analysis of One Move. They are in this duel in the status of catching up.

Bookmakers do not really believe in One Move, predicting their defeat, but leaving chances for the opposite outcome. The coefficient for the success of One Move is estimated at around 1.9.

As we said above, in this fight we are waiting for a fight of equal teams. It's hard to argue with that.

The “second roster” of VP cannot boast of the same consistency as Nemiga. The team was completed in December last year, and not much time has passed since that period.

One Move Performance

One Move appeared in competitive Dota 2 last season. The team played in the second division and at local tournaments in Eastern Europe.

At the DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division II Playoffs, the team took first place, which gave them promotion to the first division. Problems began almost immediately, although their effectiveness cannot be called terrible.

Before the debut in the top division, the team took TOP-4 at D2CL Season 11. Already in July, the club started playing in the top league.

At DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division 1, the team took 5th place. This allowed them to keep their slot in the top division.

Later, the period of preparation for the qualifiers for The International 2022 began and the game at local tournaments, mainly D2CL. Qualifiers for TI22 ended for One Move in 4th place, which is quite good.

They also played decently on D2CL. In seasons 13 and 14, the team took the TOP-2, and after that, in the seasons 16 and 17, they took the TOP-3.

Before the start of DPC 2023, the team played at the BB Xmas Show. The commercial tournament ended for One Move in the TOP-10.

At DPC 2023, the team made their debut in the match against HellRaisers. There was no trace of the previous good game last year: One Move lost with a score of 0-2 without a chance, and on the second map they played something like LC in 5th position.

Then there was a small gap in the form of two cards won in two series. Against Spirit and NaVi.

With a 0-3 statistic, the team approached the match against BB Team. The game, surprisingly, did not end with a total beating, and the second map lasted 74 minutes.

The second map in the match against BB hit morale hard, and 0-4 in the standings finished it off. Virtus.pro didn't leave their opponents a chance in the fifth match for One Move.

The main surprise happened in the match against Darkside. Being an absolute outsider, One Move managed to sensationally beat Ramzes and the company with a score of 2-0, thus retaining a chance for further participation in DPC 2023: EEU Upper Division.

Heroes of One Move

In patch 7.32 and in recent tournaments, One Move is playing in the meta, but not without experiments (as it was on the second map against HR). Pick Mirana (4 games, 50% win), Rubick (4 matches, 50% win), Lycan (3 matches, 66% win), Storm Spirit (3 matches, 66% win).

History of personal confrontations

Previously, the teams did not play each other in head-to-head confrontations. The teams will play their first head-to-head match of the new season.

Match outcome

In this match, I expect a real carnage. I'm not sure that the sides will have enough moral qualities to complain about the case in case of victory, but due to the low level of the game there will be meat. More mistakes, a lot of marriage and unbridled fun - this is how the duel of outsiders looks like.

As for the winner, I see One Move. After winning against Darkside, the team should have perked up, and it turns out they can show the game.
