AMD – officiel partner BOOM EsportsS0d
The esports organization BOOM Esports, whose lineups are represented in such disciplines as Dota 2, Wild Rift and PUBG Mobile, announced a partnership with AMD on social networks. The manufacturer of processors, video cards and other microelectronics will help the team with computer equipment.
This is not the first time AMD has partnered with representatives of the esports industry. The most famous case is a partnership with Natus Vincere CS:GO player Oleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev, who is also helped by the manufacturer with equipment in exchange for participating in promotions. Also such tags as Fnatic, Velocity Gaming and others work with the company.
The nearest tournament for Dota 2 roster of BOOM Esports will be participation in PGL Arlington Major, where the team will compete for DPC points. The Asian team currently has 1122 DPC points and is ~220 points short of guaranteeing a spot at The International 2022. To do this, skem and the team need to take a place in the top 8.
Recall that the PGL Arlington Major will be held from 4 to 14 August this year. 17 teams will compete for a prize pool of $500,000 and 4570 DPC points. The winner will earn the grand prize of $200,000 and 820 DPC points.
