Welcome to EGamersWorld.
The battles at LCK Season 2025 Round 1-2 continue. The group stage is still going on, and the fight for slots in the LCK 2025 Round 1-2 playoffs.
Among the contenders for the main stage are HLE and FearX. Moreover, both teams have every chance of getting there and most likely will. And this only adds some spice to their face-to-face match.
We will figure out which of the HLE - FearX pair will be stronger and earn important points ahead of the distribution of places in the playoffs.
Let's go.
HLE Form
We open the analysis of the HLE – FearX match with an analysis of the game form of Hanwha Life Esports. In this match, they play as favorites with a win coefficient of around 1.5.
HLE have been consistently making it to the late stages of the regular split. This only started happening in 2023. Before that, in the 2022 season, HLE were the worst team of the run, finishing top 10 in the regular splits twice.
They managed to improve by 2023, after a major reshuffle. Then two current world champions joined the HLE roster, which significantly strengthened the club.
- HLE composition: Zeus, Peanut, Zeka, Viper, Delight.
With the arrival of Zeka and Kingen, HLE has become much more energetic. So much so that they reached the TOP-4 of LCK Spring 2023. The latest addition to HLE was Grizzly, a jungler who received a promotion from the academic roster.
It seems to be going well. HLE took the TOP-3 in the regular season, which is pretty good considering the participation of teams like Dplus, T1 and other top teams.
In the first match of the playoffs, HLE warmed up against DRX. The nominally reigning world champions were unable to do anything against their opponents and HLE easily closed the match with a score of 3-0.
The situation wasn't so rosy after that: HLE ran into Gen.G and were knocked out with a score of 0-3. Fortunately, they were relegated to the lower bracket of the playoffs, but that didn't save them for long.
In the very first match of the last chance bracket, Hanwha Life Esports met KT Rolster. The pressure was too strong and HLE was washed away: 0-3 and elimination from the playoffs, and at the same time, no passage to Worlds 2023.
They tried to get to the World Championship in the regional finals, but again it didn't work out. They finished the season final tournament in the LCK in the TOP-3, without using either of their two attempts to get to the World Championship: they lost first to KT Rolster with a score of 1-3 and then to DPlus KIA with the same score.
Hanwha Life Esports finished the LCK Spring 2024 season in the TOP-3. The team was once again one series short of qualifying for the international LAN tournament.
HLE advanced to the LCK Summer 2024 playoffs from second place in the regular season, finishing it with a score of 14-4. They advanced directly to the second stage of the playoffs. They debuted in the LCK Summer 2024 playoffs with a match against T1, where they knocked out the reigning world champions with a score of 3-0. Then HLE lost to Gen.G, again knocked out T1 with class and took revenge on Gen.G in the grand final, becoming the champion of LCK Summer 2024.
Worlds 2024 HLE started with a confident victory over PSG Talon. Then there was a victory over G2 Esports. In the bracket, they lost 2-0 to Gen.G. In the next match for the Worlds 2024 playoffs, HLE were close to a disaster against FlyQuest, but managed to turn the tide of the first map, which allowed them to close the series with a score of 2-1 in their favor. The Worlds 2024 playoffs opened with a match against BLG, where they lost with a score of 1-3.
The 2025 season opened with a performance at the LCK Cup 2025, where they played in the Baron Group together with T1 and others. There they took the TOP-2, playing the stage with a score of 3-2 and got into the second round of Play-In. There they won against DRX, which gave them a place in the playoffs. In the first round of the playoffs, HLE played against T1, where in a full bo5 match they beat the current world champions with a score of 3-2. Then a match against Gen.G with a similar outcome: 3-2 in favor of Hanwha Life Esports. In the match for reaching the grand final of the LCK Cup 2025, they played against DPlus KIA, winning there with a score of 3-2. In the grand final of the LCK 2025, HLE finally achieved their goal - they beat Gen.G, becoming LCK champions for the first time.
At First Stand 2025, HLE had a great group stage, winning all 4 matches with an 8-2 map difference. In the match for the Grand Final, HLE demolished Top Esports without a chance, ending the series with a score of 3-0. In the Grand Final of First Stand 2025, HLE met Karmine Corp and, after losing the first map, took the next three without much trouble, becoming champions of the first international event of the 2025 season.
At LCK Season 2025 Rounds 1-2, the team is not experiencing difficulties, not at all. As of week 4, HLE has a score of 7-1 and 2nd place in the standings.

FearX Form
We continue our analysis of the FearX – Hanwha Life Esports match with an analysis of FearX's game form. In this match, they are playing as underdogs with a win odds of around 2.4.
FearX is a relatively new name in the LCK. The team shone on the competitive scene back in 2018, but got to LCK 2024 through the merger of Liiv Sandbox and SANDBOX Gaming, that is, when analyzing FearX, we will rely on this.
Having been on the competitive scene since 2018, they started playing in the LCK in 2019. First, it was TOP-5 at LCK Spring 2019, then TOP-4 at LCK Summer 2019 and TOP-3 at Regional Finals 2019, which was not enough to attend Worlds 2019.
Then there was a series of disastrous performances and playing in TIR tournaments. The situation began to change in 2021, when FearX, while still Liiv Sandbox, took the TOP-4 in the regional finals.
Things were going well in 2022, when SANDBOX were one step away from Worlds. First, they took TOP-3 at LCK Summer 2022, and then TOP-3 at Regional Finals, losing to DRX with a score of 2-3, not advancing to Worlds. By the way, DRX won Worlds that year, so there you have it.
2023 was a failure after a pretty good performance last season. At LCK Spring 2023 they were TOP-6, and at LCK Summer 2023 they were TOP-7.
- FearX Composition: Clear, Raptor, VicLa, Diable, Kellin.
FearX made a significant roster change during the November 2023 transfer window, with Clear, Clozer, Hena, and Execute joining the team, with jungler Willer the only player remaining from the previous roster.
At LCK Spring 2024, FearX finished in the TOP-7, not reaching the championship playoffs. However, they managed to get into the main stage of LCK Summer 2024, taking the marginal, 6th place with a score of 8-10. In the first round of the LCK Summer 2024 playoffs, they played against DPlus KIA, where they lost with a score of 1-3 and finished in the TOP-6 at the end of the championship.
The 2025 season started with LCK Cup 2025, where they failed miserably. They took the last place, TOP-10.
After 4 weeks of LCK Season 2025, FearX are in 6th place in the tournament table. The score is 4-4.
FearX's Most Picked Champions
The most popular hero for the top lane remains KSante (7 games, 42% wins). They also take Gnar (6 matches, 83% wins), Fiora (5 matches, 60% wins).
There is nothing fundamentally new in the jungle: Sejuani (7 matches, 57% wins), Wukong (6 matches, 66% wins), Maokai (4 games, 100% wins).
In the center is the favorite champion of the patch - Azir (7 matches, 85% wins). Besides him, Akali (4 games, 25% wins), Sylas (4 games, 75% wins).
The most chosen marksman is Varus (6 matches, 66% win rate). Lucian (4 games, 100% win rate) and Ashe and Caitlyn (3 games each, 66% win rate) are also popular.
Among the support players, Heimerdinger (5 games, 60% wins), Karma (4 matches, 50% wins), Ashe (3 games, 66% wins), and Nami (3 matches, 100% wins) stand out.

Predicted Result of HLE vs FearX Match at LCK Season 2025 Rounds 1-2
