The battles continue at the LPL Summer 2024 Playoffs. In case you've forgotten, this is the largest regional tournament on the professional League of Legends stage.
We are talking about the second round of the main stage of the tournament, which has already seen the first sensation in the NiP vs JD Gaming match. Today we are interested in the match between Anyone's Legend and FunPlus Phoenix.
We are trying to find out which of the pair Anyone`s Legend - FPX will be stronger and will pass to the next round where they will play against TES.

Anyone`s Legend made a surprise appearance at LPL Summer 2024, not least because of the changed format of the competition. LPL Summer 2024 started with the group stage in Basket D, where they finished in the top 1. Later, at the Rumble Stage LPL Summer 2024 AL took Top 6 with a score of 3-5, which gave them the opportunity to go straight through to the second round of the main stage.

Form FunPlus Phoenix
We continue our analysis of the FPX - Anyone`s Legend match with an analysis of FPX`s game form. In this match they will play as an outsider with odds to win at around 3.4.
Since their triumph at Worlds 2019, FPX have been unable to return to the podium in any way. There was an attempt in 2021 when FPX made it to Worlds 2021, but beyond that it was sadness.
FPX's last result was a top-15 finish at LPL Spring 2023. They played the group stage of the spring split lousy: 4-12 and now the situation is not much better.

There were no special changes at the Long Run of the tournament. There were personnel decisions on management, but it does not affect the results.
Nothing helped FPX to improve the score since LPL Spring. At the summer split, the Phoenixes are 14th place with a 4-10 record. It can improve, but they are not destined to get into the play-offs. In general, it happened so: FPX did not get into the play-offs LPL Summer 2023, but to be fair, they managed to get to 11th place in the group, which is not so bad.
Before Demacia Cup 2023 FPX visited NEST 2023, where the team traditionally plays well. This time there they took the top 4. Demacia Cup 2023 ended much sadder for FPX: the club played 2-2 in the group stage, which was not enough to qualify for the play-offs. As a result - TOP 16.
At LPL Spring 2024 the situation unfolded quite differently. FPX were convincing in most of their matches, which allowed them to go 11-5 and take the Top 4 of the regular season in such a competitive region.
At LPL Summer 2024, FunPlus Phoenix Long Co-angled with the Top 2 in Group A, playing there with a score of 3-3. In the Rumble Stage, the team made it to the Top 7, finishing Ascend Group with a 3-5 score, which allowed direct entry into the playoffs.
They made their debut at the LPL Summer 2024 play-offs with a match against TT Gaming, where they drew 3-2 in an evenly contested match.
