Glad to see you on EGamersWorld.
The 2025 LEC Spring Split is in full swing. The tournament is currently in its Group Stage, with the final day of the first game week taking place today, March 31, 2025.
One of the matches of the final game day of the first week will be the match between BDS and Rogue. The format of the match is bo3.
Let's figure out which team will earn an extra win ahead of the start of the new week of LEC Spring 2025 and new achievements. Or not.
Let's go.
BDS Form
We open the analysis of the BDS – Rogue match with an analysis of the game form of BDS. In this match, BDS play first number with a coefficient for victory in the region of 1.2.
At LEC Winter 2023, BDS made it to the group stage, but quickly dropped out, finishing last in their quartet. The result is TOP-7.
Next up is LEC Spring 2023 and BDS' moment of glory. They unexpectedly reached the grand final, but lost to MAD Lions, who were on a roll in the spring.
- BDS composition: Irrelevant, 113, Nuc, Ice, Parus.
Before LEC Finals 2023, BDS played LEC Summer 2023. They were one map short of making it to the playoffs. They finished the championship in 5th place.
Thanks to near-top places and TOP-2 at LEC Spring 2023, BDS were able to get to LEC Finals 2023, and also to the upper bracket, where they got to G2 Esports in the first round. The face-to-face meeting did not end with anything interesting and G2 closed the match without any problems with a score of 3-1.
After losing to the main favorites of the LEC Finals 2023 – G2 Esports – BDS played against SK Gaming. The German club was unable to do anything against the French and fell with a score of 0-3.
However, the match with SK ended BDS's path to the LEC Finals 2023. The team lost to Fnatic with a score of 2-3 in the next round of the lower bracket, thus not reaching the TOP-3 of the tournament for direct participation in the main tournament.
BDS have already started Worlds 2023 on a positive note. They outclassed Golden Guardians in the Worlds Qualifying Series, thereby snatching a slot for themselves in this same Play-In.
After a confident victory over GG at the Worlds Qualifying Series, BDS unexpectedly failed their first match at Worlds 2023. They lost to the second number Vietnam, thus becoming the main losers of the World Championship so far.
They managed to partially rehabilitate themselves in the match against DFM. The Japanese club did not put up the necessary resistance and BDS easily closed the series with a score of 2-0.
In the match for entry here, BDS played against CTBC. The French outplayed their opponents with class, closing the series with a score of 2-0.
BDS fought PSG Talon for the group stage. The French were one map away from elimination, but on the third map Adam and his Olaf gave his team a chance to cling to a comeback and BDS used it: a reverse sweep in the match for the group stage actually allowed BDS to get into the group stage.
In the group stage of Worlds 2023, BDS first encountered JD Gaming. Obviously, the world's number one team was too much for the French and they lost without much of a chance. Next came the match against MAD Lions and again an ironclad defeat. BDS's final at Worlds 2023 was as inglorious as their entire stay at the tournament - they lost to Dplus with a score of 0-2.
BDS will debut at LEC Winter 2024 against G2 Esports. Power to them! Later there will be a duel with GIANTX, it will be easier, but far from easy.
BDS had almost no equals in the LEC Winter 2024 regular season. The French club lost only 2 matches: the first of the year against G2 Esports and the last in the regular season against Karmine Corp.
In the LEC Winter 2024 playoffs, they met Team Heretics. There, the French team outclassed the “heretics” with a score of 2-0. The quarterfinals were not much more difficult for BDS: again a confident victory with a score of 2-0, but this time against Vitality. They fell to the lower bracket after a hopeless defeat to G2 Esports in the small final of the upper bracket. And there they lost to MAD Lions.
LEC Spring 2024 was a good year, but they couldn't make it to MSI 2024. Fnatic got in the way, knocking out BDS in the match for the Grand Final.
BDS advanced to the LEC Summer 2024 playoffs with great confidence, sharing the regular season TOP-1 with SK Gaming. The championship playoffs started with a 2-1 victory over MAD Lions KOI. Then they met G2 Esports and the outcome was more than obvious - 0-2 in favor of G2. Having fallen to the lower bracket, BSD beat GiantX, closing the series with a score of 2-1. Before this match, BDS played against Karmine Corp and that was a pretty tough match, but still ended in a 3-2 victory for BDS. But in the match for reaching the grand final, they were unlucky to meet G2: 1-3 and were eliminated in the TOP-3.
The LEC Finals 2024 started with a hopeless loss against Fnatic. Then came an equally hopeless win against SK Gaming in the first round of the lower bracket. Then came a match against G2 Esports for the TOP-3 of the LEC Finals, but BDS literally lacked one map to win and left the tournament with a score of 2-3.
BDS passed the regular season of LEC Winter 2025, as they say, “on the thinnest of legs”. The French club, after changes in the roster, took 7 places in the group table of LEC Winter 2025. The LEC Winter 2025 playoffs started with a match against KOI, where, being an outsider, they expectedly lost with a score of 0-2. In the lower bracket, BSD had enough for a victory against Vitality, and then a loss to Fnatic and the final TOP-6.
Most Popular BDS Champions
The most common picks for the top lane are K'Sante (4 matches, 50% win rate), Gnar (3 matches, 100% win rate).
From the junglers, they choose Wukong (4 matches, 50% wins), Vi (2 matches, 50% wins), Nocturne (2 matches, 50% wins), Viego (2 matches, 0% wins).
In the mid lane Gragas (4 matches, 50% wins), Annie (4 matches, 50% wins).
On marksmen, everything is stable and according to the meta: Aphelios (6 matches, 33% wins), Jinx (3 matches, 66% wins), Zeri (2 matches, 100% wins).

Rogue Form
We continue our analysis of the Rogue – BDS match with an analysis of Rogue’s game form. In this match, they are playing second with a win coefficient of around 4.
Rogue skipped the entire 2023 and only returned to the competitive League of Legends scene ahead of 2024. This is, in principle, a very logical decision, because in 2022 Rogue showed high results, but then something went wrong.
They first showed their mettle at LEC Spring 2022, reaching the Grand Finals of the Spring Split. Then G2 stepped in and prevented Rogue from finishing the season with a triumph.
However, fortune turned out to be favorable already in the next draw of the European league. At LEC Summer 2022, Rogue took the TOP-3 in the group stage, and then played a rather difficult playoff: a victory over MAD Lions with a score of 3-2, a loss to G2 with a score of 0-3, a victory in the small final against Fnatic and finally – an undisputed championship with a victory over G2 (3-0).
Rogue attended Worlds 2022 in October of the season before last. No one had high hopes for them, but Rogue exceeded many expectations by reaching the playoffs. As a result of the tournament, the team took the TOP-8, which is an absolute success for residents of Europe.
- Rogue line-up: Adam, Malrang, Larssen, Patrix, Execute.
In the new season, the core of Koi is playing for Rogue, which is quite logical, since the club absorbed the slot of the Spanish organization.
In the first match, Rogue will face SK Gaming. I expect a victory in the first match for the “new” team in the LEC. Next is the game against Heretics, and it will clearly not be easier than the match with SK: the “heretics” look good, and their roster is probably one of the most combative in the new LEC. As a result, Rogue lost to Heretics, but they won against G2 Esports, who are considered the main favorites of the tournament, but then lost to SK Gaming.
Rogue went 1-2 in the first week, which is not good, but not critical either. But then things got much worse, which led Rogue to a 2-6 record before the start of the final match. And they lost it, thus taking the TOP-9.
LEC Spring 2024 Rogue failed. Just like in LEC Winter 2024, the team did not make it out of the group stage, finishing in the TOP-9. Things were not much better in LEC Summer 2024, where Rogue showed absolutely nothing: TOP-10.
Rogue also visited LEC Winter 2025 where they showed their “standard” game – TOP-10. There is no need to talk about the playoffs.
Rogue started LEC Spring 2025 with a loss to Team Heretics.
Most Popular Rogue Champions
The top was equally dominated by Ornn (4 matches, 25% wins), Gangplank (4 matches, 100% wins), Gnar (4 games, 50% wins), and Gwen (4 matches, 50% wins).
Wukong (4 matches, 75% wins), Vi (3 games, 33% wins), Trundle (3 matches, 33% wins) were picked into the jungle.
In the center we played with Azir (6 matches, 66% wins), Taliyah (4 games, 25% wins).
The ADC position was filled by Kalista (5 matches, 40% win rate), Ezrael (3 matches, 66% win rate), Sivir (3 matches, 66% win rate).
For support, the following were chosen: Renata Glasc (3 games, 33% wins), Rakan (3 matches, 100% wins), Nami (2 matches, 100% wins).
Rogue – BDS Personal Meeting History
The teams have played each other three times in the last year, with BDS winning all three matches.
BDS vs. Rogue Predicted Result at LEC Spring 2025
My bet in this match is on BDS. In their debut match at LCE Spring 2025, they should easily beat their opponents from Rogue, who looked pretty “no good” in their first match.
Result: BDS victory.
