Los Angeles Thieves bliver mester Call of Duty League 2022: Stage 4 Major
/Call of Duty League 2022: Stage 4 Major has come to an end. As part of the championship, which took place from July 14 to July 17 in Brooklyn at the Kings Theatre, twelve North American teams fought for a prize pool of $500,000, as well as rating points for the season. The winner of the tournament was the Los Angeles Thieves team, which in the grand final was stronger than the New York Subliners with a score of 5:3.
The championship for the future winner began with confident victories over Atlanta FaZe (3:1) and Toronto Ultra (3:0). However, in the final of the upper bracket, the team lost to the New York Subliners (1:3) and fell to the bottom of the competition. Here, Los Angeles Thieves managed to beat Atlanta FaZe (3:1), thus making it to the grand final.
In the decisive match of the tournament, the North American team managed to take revenge on the New York Subliners (5:3), thanks to which they became the winner of the Call of Duty League 2022: Stage 4 Major, earning $200,000 and 65 CDL Points.
Taking into account the results of the championship, the final composition of the upcoming CDL Championship 2022 was determined: Atlanta FaZe (1st place of the season), OpTic Texas (2nd place of the season), Los Angeles Thieves (3rd place of the season), London Royal Ravens (4- th place of the season), Seattle Surge (5th place of the season), Boston Breach (6th place of the season), Toronto Ultra (7th place of the season) and New York Subliners (8th place of the season).
