Team Spirit has secured victory in The International for the second time

Team Spirit clinched the title of The International 2023 in Dota 2 by defeating Gaimin Gladiators in the grand finals with a score of 3:0. This victory established Team Spirit as the most successful team in Eastern Europe.

The lineup led by Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk surpassed Natus Vincere in terms of victories at global championships. Team Spirit now boasts two The International trophies, while NAVI has one. The Ukrainian organization NAVI secured their trophy at The International 2011.

For their triumph at TI12, Team Yatoro earned over $1.4 million in prize money, while Gaimin Gladiators secured the second position and received just over $375,000.

The International 2023 tournament took place from October 12 to 30, with the playoff stage held at the Seattle Convention Center's Summit and Climate Pledge Arena. The total prize pool for the competition exceeded $3 million. Azure Ray and LGD Gaming were also among the top four most formidable teams at this world championship.
