The Gaimin Gladiators are the 1st team in the world rankings. DPC finished the first round in 2nd place, leaving out Team Liquid. The Lima Major finished in 1st place, having confidently beaten Liquid in the Grand Final 3-0, although TL had a replacement at the time. By the same token, in the second round of the DPC GG they yield the leading position to Liquid, incidentally giving way to Tundra as well. 3rd place. A similar situation by the previous Major overtook us at the Dreamleague, where in a persistent Grand Final GG beat Liquid 3-2. At the Berlin Major the same situation awaited us. Liquid GG Grandfinal, from which GG emerge victorious. Round 3 DPC had a rest, but that didn't stop them from taking the 2nd place by the end of it.
9 Pandas - 6th team in the world ranking. DPC CIS region in the first round finished in 3rd place, behind Spirit and BB. In the Lima Major boys have only a modest 9-12th position. They gather their strength and finish the second round of the DPC already in 1st place, without conceding anything. DreamLeague, however, does not get going at all and the organisation leaves the tournament in 13th-14th position. Berlin Major, on the other hand, is shaping up much more nicely. The team manages to reach the top 3, missing only Liquid and GG. Round 3 did not quite work out. They've taken the 3rd position, but they're likely to qualify for TI anyway, so that's not crucial.
All the bo2 series of these opponents ended in a draw, regardless of tournaments, results and odds. It's too pretty an outsider's handicap.
