The battles within DreamLeague Season 25 are gaining momentum. Within the prestigious tournament from ESL with a prize pool of $1,000,000, where $250,000 is distributed among the clubs.
We are watching the second group stage, where 4 playoff participants will be determined. Among the contenders for the passage to the main stage are Falcons and BB Team, who will play each other in a face-to-face match.
We are trying to figure out who will be stronger in this match and earn important points ahead of the start of the playoffs.

Falcons uniform
We open the analysis of the Falcons – BB Team match with an analysis of the Falcons’ game form. In this match, they play as favorites with a win coefficient of around 1.7.
The tag is not new, but they were not able to achieve much fame after joining Dota 2 several years ago. All they limited themselves to was playing in the local Saudi eLeague. They played there in 2020, with TOP-6 and in 2021, with TOP-3 and TOP-1, respectively.
After a year-long break, we decided to return to the professional scene after Valve cancelled the DPC system. To break in with a kick.

When assembling the roster, we followed the “golden lineup” principle. We managed to snatch two Tundra Esports players, and also The International 2023 champions Skiter and Sneyking, Cr1t, who had previously played for Shopify Rebellion and earlier for EG, ATF, who showed a good performance last season as part of PSG Quest and before that in Nigma with OG, and we closed everything with the promising midlaner Marl1ne.
In the MENA region, where the Falcons are based, this squad has no competition even at the skill level. And so it happened that the Falcons have already secured their ticket to Kuala Lumpur 2023.
First, they easily passed the open qualification, and then, again without any problems, they slammed the closed part of the qualifiers. In the final, by the way, they beat PSG Quest with a score of 3-1. What the former and the latter are doing in the MENA region is not entirely clear, but oh well.
The Falcons are looking very confident so far at the Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show, which is to be expected. They have already earned a spot in the playoffs by coming out of Group B in first place, and they haven't dropped a single map in three matches.
The Falcons began their playoff run at the Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show with a first-round match against Level Up. An easy win brought the Falcons to The Dudley Boys, where the Falcons suffered their first and only loss of the tournament. They were beaten by The Dudley Boys, who the Falcons eventually got their revenge on in the grand final.
At the end of the Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show, the Falcons took first place and earned $50,000. The triumph at the local championship was the Falcons' first victory in the discipline. But not the last.
After winning Pinnacle, Falcons placed Top 6 at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 and then began to dominate. In 2024, they won 3 qualifiers: BB Dacha, DreamLeague Season 22, and ESL One Birmingham in their MENA region.
Just prior to participating in DL Season 22, the Falcons became BB Dacha Champions, earning $400,000.
Afterwards, Falcons played at DreamLeague Season 22. They showed the highest level of play and took another trophy into their pocket, beating BB in the grand final with a score of 3-0. They were in the Elite League final, but were unable to win there: Xtreme Gaming turned out to be stronger and won the final with a score of 3-1.
Falcons played the group stage of ESL One Birmingham 2024 in the TOP-1 of Group A. However, in the first round of the playoffs, Falcons lost to Tundra with a score of 1-2. In the lower bracket of the playoffs, Falcons beat Team Liquid from a 0-1 deficit. Subsequently, the club from Saudi Arabia managed to win the tournament, beating BB Team in the grand final.
Falcons then continued their winning streak: they won DreamLeague Season 23, FISSURE Universe: Ep. 3 and Dacha 2024, but “failed” at The International 2024, finishing in the TOP-4. One of the few top teams that kept their roster after The International 2024.
They passed the first group stage of DreamLeague Season 24 confidently: they became the best team of Group B, having played it with a score of 5-2-0. But the second part of the group stage is oh so difficult, because as of the penultimate day of games, November 6, they have a score of 3-2, which does not guarantee passage to the playoffs. However, they managed to pass to the playoffs, and there the classic Falcons happened: the road to the grand final and a victory there with a score of 3-1 against BB Team.
The group stage of BLAST Slam I went very badly: 2-2, but based on the results of personal meetings in Basket A they took the TOP-4, which led to getting into the first round of the playoffs. Having passed the opening match of the main stage against OG, they lost in the next round, taking the TOP-8 in the end.
At the start of the 2025 season, the Falcons have “sagged” and no longer seem as armor-piercing as they once were. The Falcons took the TOP-2 in Fissure Playground and the TOP-4 in BLAST Slam II.
At DreamLeague Season 25, the Falcons advanced 4-1 through the first group stage.

The most frequently picked heroes were Mars (6 matches, 66% win rate), Pango (5 matches, 60% win rate), Hoodwink (5 matches, 60% win rate), Doom (4 matches, 75% win rate), and Shadow Demon (4 matches, 75% win rate).
BB Team Uniform
We continue our analysis of the BB Team – Falcons match with an analysis of BB’s game form. In this match, they are playing as underdogs with a win odds of around 2.1.
In the first season of the regional league, BB Team took the TOP-1, quite confidently moving past their main opponents in the person of Spirit and HR. However, the success was quickly overshadowed by the performance at the Lima Major 2023, where BB failed to advance from the group.
Several fruitless events later, BB Team started playing in the second division of DPC. This time the situation changed dramatically, from TOP-1 to TOP-3, but on the international stage everything was stable: another failure to get out of the group at the major.
The third season of DPC was held under the slogan “time to get our own back”, but somehow it didn’t work out, something didn’t go and in the end – TOP-2. Again, it seems to be symbolic, but if you compare Western and Eastern Europe, TOP-2 in the first case is much more prestigious than reaching BB.

The moment of glory for BB Team was DreamLeague Season 20. Having entered the tournament quite by chance (they replaced Execration), the Eastern European residents managed to get to the grand final of the tournament, where they beat up Gladiators, but ultimately lost with a score of 2-3.
After a solid group stage at The Bali Major 2023 with 4-2-2 from BB, the Eastern European resident advanced to the upper bracket of the playoffs. There, the team beat Tundra Esports, but due to a violation of the tournament rules, that result was annulled. As a result, Bali Major 2023 ended for BB Team in the TOP-12.
After the last major tournament of the season, BB Team visited a number of other events. Among them is Riyadh Masters 2023. At the largest commercial tournament of the season, BB Team reached the TOP-6, which is quite good.
In addition to Riyadh Masters 2023, BB Team also made their mark at BB Dacha. The tournament from the main sponsor BB club ended before it really started: BB Team failed to get out of the group and as a result finished in the TOP-8.
In the group stage of DreamLeague Season 21, BB Team played in Group B. They managed to take 2nd place, only behind Team Spirit.
BB also attended The International 2023. Then the team managed to reach the TOP-6, and was knocked out of the tournament by Azure Ray.
At ESL Kuala Lumpur 2023, BB played the group stage neutrally, drawing all matches. This allowed them to advance to the playoffs, where BB looked much better than in the group: 2-0 against Tundra Esports and 2-0 against G2.IG. However, then BB Team met Team Liquid and ended up in the TOP-4. Then BB Team played at BB Dacha Dubai 2024, where they reached the TOP-3.
At the end of the first day of games at DreamLeague Season 22, BB Team took first place in their group. They won against GG and tied with Vp. Then the situation for BB was no worse: on the second day, they closed Azure Ray with a score of 2-0. Despite two draws on the third day, this did not prevent them from advancing to the second group stage of the tournament.
BB Team started the second stage of DreamLeague Season 22 with victories over OG, Xtreme Gaming and Shopify Rebellion. They eventually reached the grand final, where they were beaten by Falcons with a score of 3-0. Things were much worse in the Elite League: TOP-12.
Dali played at ESL One Birmingham 2024, where they reached the grand finals but were destroyed by Falcons. They also played at PGL Wallachia Season 1, where they managed to reach the top 11, which is not a good result.
At DreamLeague Season 23, BB Team barely made it through their group, reaching the bottom half of the playoffs. However, after a dismal start, they managed to rehabilitate themselves during the playoffs and BB took the TOP-3.
The main tournament of the season was TI 2024, where BB managed to reach the TOP-8, but Falcons intervened.
BB showed a good game at DreamLeague Season 24, where they managed to reach TOP-2, but lost again in the final against Falcons. Luck smiled at BLAST Slam 1, where BB took TOP-1. After that, they played at ESL One Bangkok 2024, where they took TOP-3.
The 2025 season is going worse than the end of 2024. They started from TOP-6 at Fissure Playground, and then TOP-8 at BLAST Slam II. At DreamLeague Season 25, BB Team took TOP-2 in the first group stage.
