Over the next four days, the top teams of the season from Europe, North America, Mexico and Australia will compete for a combined prize of $1,000,000. Halo World Championship 2022 Format
The championship will begin with the Play-In stage, where eight teams will fight for four tickets to the group stage. Bypassing the single elimination bracket, four teams will make their way to the Pool Play stage, joining the seeded participants.

The participants of the Play-In stage (determined by the total number of points earned for the season) are Fnatic , Complexity Gaming , Spacestation Gaming , Team Cruelty, Acend , JLINGZ esports , Divine Mind and Chiefs Esports Club .
The group stage will offer each quartet three tickets to the playoffs, while the worst teams will leave the Halo World Championship 2022. The playoffs of the tournament will be held in a single elimination format, where the remaining teams will fight for the right to become the champion.
