k1ng sluttede sig til Vancouver Titans
Maksym ShylovCanadian esports team Vancouver Titans announced on social media that Rene 'k1ng' Rangel has joined the Overwatch roster. Thus, the eighteen-year-old esportsman will make his debut in the Overwatch League.
K1ng has previously played in Overwatch Contenders for such teams as Phase 2, Square One, Odyssey, Bobby Wasabi, Maryville Esports and others. The player's biggest earnings came from the Phase 2 roster of Overwatch Contenders 2019 Season 1: North America West, when the team took the last eighth place and received $11,600. It is also worth highlighting such achievements as 3rd place at Overwatch Contenders 2021 Season 1: North America - March, 2nd place at Contenders 2021 NA Season 2 - June and 3rd place at the end of Contenders 2021 NA Season 3 - September.
The Vancouver Titans are currently playing in the Overwatch League 2022 - Summer Showdown - Qualifiers. In the western group, 13 teams are fighting for 8 slots in the main stage of the tournament. The first match that k1ng can play in is scheduled for August 13th. The Vancouver Titans will play against the Toronto Defiant.
