TALON Esports expands into Europe with Malta base
TALON Esports expansion into Europe was also done in collaboration with the independent non-profit foundation Gaming Malta. The organization highlighted that the collaboration has provided TALON with the infrastructure and resources to establish operations, ensuring a smoother launch process. The collaboration also saw Gaming Malta connect TALON with stakeholders to streamline the onboarding experience.
According to the announcement, TALON Esports will focus on team operations while also seeking opportunities in academies, education and content creation, among other areas.
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Hong Kong, TALON Esports fields teams across various game titles, including League of Legends, VALORANT, Dota 2, Arena of Valor, Rainbow Six Siege, PUBG Mobile, Street Fighter, Tekken 8 and Starcraft 2.
By covering eight markets in the Asian Pacific region, the company has secured a notable portfolio of partners, having worked with football club Paris-Saint Germain, furniture company Secretlab, streetwear boutique Carniva, gaming hardware company ThundeRobot, and energy drink brand Monster Energy.
