We continue to see what's going on at DreamLeague Season 24. The second group stage of the tournament is heating up, with 8 teams battling it out for the play-offs.
Among the 8 contenders for the next round are Falcons and BB Team. The chances of the teams are not ghostly, and therefore their face-to-face match has a serious weight.
Let's try to find out which team will be stronger and earn extra points on the eve of distribution of places on play-offs DL Season 24.

Falcons uniforms
We open our analysis of the Falcons vs BB Team match with an analysis of the Falcons' form. In this match they play as favourites with odds to win at around 1.6.
The tag is not a new one, but they have not been able to achieve much fame since coming to Dota 2 a few years ago. All they did was to play in the local Saudi eLeague. They played there in 2020, with the top 6 and in 2021, with the top 3 and top 1 respectively.
After a pause of a year, decided to return to the professional scene after Valve cancelled the DPC system. Breaking in with a leg.

When collecting the roster, we went by the principle of "golden lineup". We managed to get two players from Tundra Esports, and at the same time champions of The International 2023 Skiter and Sneyking, Cr1t, who previously played for Shopify Rebellion and previously for EG, ATF, who showed a good performance last season in PSG Quest and before that in Nigma with OG, and closed everything with a promising mid laner Marl1ne.
In the MENA region, where Falcons are based, this squad has no competition even at the skilla level. As it happens, the Falcons have already clinched their ticket to Kuala Lumpur 2023.
First, they passed the open qualification without any difficulty, and then, again without much trouble, slammed the closed part of the qualifiers. In the final, by the way, they beat PSG Quest by a score of 3-1. What one and two are doing in the MENA region is not entirely clear, but come on.
At Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show Falcons look very confident so far, which is to be expected. They have already earned their place in the play-offs by coming out of Group B in first place without losing a single game in three matches.
The Falcons started their appearance in the Pinnacle play-offs: 25 Year Anniversary Show with a first round match against Level Up. An easy win took the Falcons to The dudley boys and there the Falcons got their first and only loss of the tournament. They were beaten by The dudley boys, who were given a rematch by the Falcons in the grand final.
In the end, the Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show Falcons took first place and earned $50,000. The triumph at the local championship was the Falcons' first win in the discipline. But not the last.
After winning at Pinnacle, Falcons finished top 6 at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 and then started to dominate. In 2024, they won 3 qualifiers: at BB Dacha, at DreamLeague Season 22 and ESL One Birmingham at their home in the MENA region.
Just before competing at DL Season 22, Falcons became BB Dacha champions, earning $400,000.
After the Falcons played at DreamLeague Season 22. They showed the highest level of play and pocketed another trophy by beating BB 3-0 in the grand finals. They made it to the Elite League finals, but couldn't win there: Xtreme Gaming proved to be stronger and won the final with a score of 3-1.
In the group stage of ESL One Birmingham 2024 Falcons played at the TOP-1 of Group A. However, the Falcons lost to Tundra 1-2 in the first round of the play-offs. In the lower round of the play-offs, Falcons defeated Team Liquid 0-1. The club from Saudi Arabia subsequently managed to win the tournament, running over BB Team in the grand finals.
Falcons continued their winning streak as they won DreamLeague Season 23, FISSURE Universe: Ep. 3 and Dacha 2024, but fell short at The International 2024, finishing in the top 4. One of the few top teams that kept their roster after The International 2024.
The first group stage of DreamLeague Season 24 went well: they were the best team of Group B, winning it with a 5-2-0 score. In the second group stage they are playing well: 2-1 as of 4 November and a match against Xtreme in reserve.
Falcons' most popular heroes
Mars (6 matches, 66% wins), Pango (5 matches, 60% wins), Hoodwink (5 matches, 60% wins), Doom (4 matches, 75% wins), Shadow Demon (4 matches, 75% wins) appeared in spades most often.
BB Team uniforms
We continue with BB Team - Falcons with an analysis of BB Team's match form. In this match they will play as an outsider with odds to win at around 2.7.
In the first season of the regional league BB Team took the top 1, very confidently running over their main opponents Spirit and HR. However, the success was quickly overshadowed by their performance at Lima Major 2023, where BB failed to make it out of the group.
A few inconclusive events later, BB Team began play in the second division of the DPC. This time the situation changed dramatically, from top 1 to top 3, but on the international stage everything was stable: another failure to get out of the group at the Major e.
The third season of DPC was held under the slogan "it's time to get back", but somehow it didn't work out, something didn't go well and in the end - TOP-2. Again, kind of significant, but if we compare Western and Eastern Europe, TOP-2 in the first case is much more prestigious than BB achievement.

BB Team's moment of glory was DreamLeague Season 20. Having got to the tournament quite by chance (they replaced Execration), the Eastern European residents managed to make it to the grand final of the tournament, where they beat Gladiators, but eventually lost with the score 2-3.
After a solid group stage at The Bali Major 2023 with a 4-2-2 from BB, Eastern European Resident made it to the top set of play-offs. There the team outplayed Tundra Esports, but due to a tournament rules violation that result was cancelled. As a result, Bali Major 2023 ended for BB Team in the top 12.
After the last Major tournament of the season BB Team attended a number of other events. Among them is the Riyadh Masters 2023. At the biggest commercial tournament of the season, BB Team made it to the top 6, which is pretty good.
In addition to the Riyadh Masters 2023 BB Team also made an appearance at the BB Dacha. The tournament from the main sponsor BB Club finished without having started: BB Team failed to get out of the group and as a result finished in the top 8.
In the group stage of DreamLeague Season 21 BB Team played in Group B. They managed to take the 2nd place, passing only Team Spirit.
BB visited The International 2023. Then the team managed to reach the top 6, but they were knocked out of the tournament by Azure Ray.
At ESL Kuala Lumpur 2023 BB played the group stage neutrally, playing all matches in a draw. This allowed them to advance to the play-offs, where BB looked much better than they did in the group: 2-0 against Tundra Esports and 2-0 against G2.IG. However, BB Team went on to face Team Liquid and ended up in the top 4. Next BB Team played at BB Dacha Dubai 2024, where they reached the Top 3.
At the end of the first day of games at DreamLeague Season 22 BB Team took the first place in their group. They won against GG and played a draw with Vp. Further the situation for BB was not worse: on the second day they closed Azure Ray with the score 2-0. Despite two draws on the third day, this did not prevent them from advancing to the second group stage of the tournament.
BB Team started the second stage of DreamLeague Season 22 with victories from OG, Xtreme Gaming and Shopify Rebellion. As a result, they reached the grand finals, where they were run over by Falcons with a score of 3-0. Things were much worse at the Elite League: top-12.
Dali played at ESL One Birmingham 2024, where they reached the grand finals, but were eliminated by Falcons. They also played at PGL Wallachia Season 1, where they managed to reach TOP-11, which is not a good result.
At DreamLeague Season 23 BB Team barely made it through their group, making it to the bottom of the play-offs. However, after the disappointing Long Sogpeg managed to rehabilitate themselves during the play-offs and BB took the top 3.
The main tournament of the season was TI 2024, where BB managed to reach the Top 8, but the Falcons intervened.
In the first group stage BB played in Group A where they played 2-4-1 and after finishing in the borderline 4th place, they qualified here. In the second part of the group stage BB had 2-1 as of 4 November.
BB Team's most popular characters
The most used BB Team character remains Storm Spirit (5 matches, 60% wins). The team also plays with Primal Beast and Pugna at position 4, and both heroes have 4 matches and 100% wins each. In spades was Enchantress (4 matches, 25% wins), Beastmaster (4 games, 0% wins).
