The culmination in the Western European region is on the doorstep. We have one last match to watch in the regular season, but not the last match on the tour.

The encounter, like virtually everything in the new season, is crucial. OG and Entity will meet face-to-face, and the match will decide a lot.

The winner of the match will go to play against Ooredoo Thunders for slot 4 at The Berlin Major 2023. The loser will go on to play a 3-team round-robin replay for the right to stay in the first division.

Entity and OG have a 2-4 statistic. Both teams are desperate for a win, but both fall short of The Berlin Major 2023 participant status to put it mildly.

Let's start the match review with an analysis of Entity's playing form. They are seen as favourites for this match.

Bookmakers are cautiously calling Entity the future winner of the match. The odds of their success are estimated at 1.8.

In essence, we have absolute parity in front of us. Judging by the games, which happened to watch, it is indeed so. After The Lima Major 2023, Entity has sunk to the bottom of the pecking order. The saddest thing about their situation is that they do not see much A Crosa in the game.

It's a bit unclear where such a tangible crisis was coming from. The Lima Major 2023 is sort of behind us, the line-up was new and what should have been expected from it.

I daresay they were broken by the 7.32e patch. It's possible and even more likely that the reason for their failure is far-fetched but I have a hard time finding any other explanation for it.

Entity's performance

Entity finished DPC 2023: WEU Upper Division - Tour 1 in fourth place. The squad played the regular season 4-3 before heading to round-robin play alongside Tundra Esports and OG.

After passing the tiebreaker Entity went to the Lima Major 2023. Prior to that, they entered the top 4 of the BB Universe Comics Zone.

After the group stage, Entity made it to the top of the play-offs, from where they fell to eventual champions Gladiators. Entity's stay in the tournament was overtaken by Talon Esports, who created the biggest sensation of the past championship.

They played their first match in the second round against Nigma Galaxy. Despite a sizeable lead, Entity had a tough time but clinched the win: 2-1.

In the next match Entity faced the Greek Monaspa in the underdogs of the tournament. The match ended 2-0 in favor of Fishaman's team.

But with Tundra Esports was not easy. The International 2022 champions had no problem taking on their less titled opponents.

The streak Entity continued in the next series. Liquid, regaining their former confidence, easily crushed their opponents on two maps.

The match against Gladiators did not see any global changes either. The 2023 Lima Major champions overpowered Entity in class to close 2-0.

In the next match, however, things were already critical. Ooredoo Thunders, the season opener, shut Entity down 2-0, sending Entity to their next encounter.

Entity Heroes

The most chosen character for Entity in the current DPC draw was Tiny. The character has been taken 8 times, but has a 37% win rate.

Invoker and Disruptor were picked 7 times each. The latter has 71% win rate, while midget Invo has a dismal situation with only 28% of wins.

Also picked DP (6 games, 50% win rate). Treant, Nature`s Prophet, Rubick each had 3 matches and won 1 of them.

OG Form

Let's move on to an overview of OG's playing form. In this match, they will have to play as the underdog.

The odds of OG winning the duel are estimated at odds around 1.9. As mentioned above, such a figure hints at an absolute parity in terms of performance in front of Long Soppeg.

In the new season, OG are as similar to Entity as possible. The team, like their future rival, is going through bad times. From the word "at all".

In the round robins, OG played against Tundra and Entity. Both OG and Entity lost twice, which ultimately prevented them from qualifying for the Lima Major 2023.

In the first match of the new round, OG's opponent was Tundra. The same Tundra that failed at Lima Major 2023 beat OG 2-0 in their first home league match, but truth be told, OG had a chance on both cards.

The next match ended identically for OG, with no ghostly hopes. Liquid needed 37 minutes in the first and 29 minutes in the second to shut down their arch-rivals. "Liquid switched off Yuragi from the first maps, driving them into maximum tilt, and Enigma via Guardian Greaves from DM was out of place.

Next, OG were close to a total collapse and 0-3 on the scoreboard, but it carried through. Ooredoo poured on the first map in a way that a first tier team cannot afford, resulting in an upset defeat for OT and giving hope to OG.

The next opponent for OG was Gaimin Gladiators. The Gladiators, who had been on the decline since the Lima Major 2023, recovered their spirit and overcame OG without any problems.

The climax of OG's fall was the match against Monaspa. The once Major champions and generally experienced players gave away two games to the newcomers in the division, losing in a landslide.

In the previous match, OG had a chance to clinch a place in the top division. OG beat Nigma Galaxy 2-0.

If I have to pick a winner, I see OG as the one to beat. In contrast to Entity, they seem to me to be a more stress resistant team, which will be decisive in this match.
