Tomorrow, the grand finalof China's main League of Legends tournament,LPL Summer 2022, will take place, in which Top Esports and JD Gaming will meet. Most recently, both teams have already fought in the final of the upper bracket and it was the best series of games we have seen in this split. And that is why the match will be a realrevenge!

How did it all come to this?

Both teams - TES and JDG - finished the group stage in the top positions, top 1 and top 2, respectively. However, Top Esports still overtook their competitors by 2 points with the same score in meetings 14-2. The fact is that even with the same results in the series of games, TES played these series "cleaner", having received fewer losses in Bo3 games. Thus, they immediately secured a place in the main stage of the 2022 Season World Championship even before the playoffs began. And JDG went there, along with a pass to the grand final of the home stage.

But even in the playoffs themselves, the team did not relax and continued to move along the upper bracket, playing to their maximum. However, almost at the very end they were stopped and thrown into the JDG lower bracket in a very close confrontation, which you can read more about here.

Now, TES are making it back to the grand finals once again, having gone through reigning world champions Edward Gaming in a brilliant lower bracket streak that ended 3-0 for the former. And again we are waiting for the TES game against JDG, about which some Twitter users even made memes that JDG retweeted.

Team Form

It is impossible to say for sure that one team is stronger than the other, as evidenced by many bookmakers with analysts who give equal chances to both. Each team has its own advantages and disadvantages.

For example, JD Gaming play more through the toplane and 369, who most often received the MVP title from the team during the group stage and the South Korean jungler Kanavi.

But Top Esports give the classic preference to the midlane, where knight plays and, recently, the botlane and their new trump card ADC JackeyLove.

So, if we already compare the prevailing sides of each of the teams, I would personally give preference to TES due to the fact that the ADK meta is quite strong now. And if JDG can't stop JackeyLove quickly, it will be quite difficult. And I very much doubt that in such a meeting the games will be up to 25 minutes.

What will the series look like?

I don't think we'll see anything new. Key bans will still be: Yummi, Sylas, Azir, Poppy, Renekton.

As for the draft, the situation is much more interesting. Depending on the queue, both teams will want to pick Zeri or Lucian, Wukong, Gnar and Renata Glasc with Ahri first.

With a very high probability we will see games within 30-40 minutes, due to the fact that both teams will not give up until the last.
